The short version
Choose Intern Dock if your search is specifically about internships: the board is internship-only, refreshed daily across seven countries, and the tools (Resume Tailor, Cover Letter Writer, Interview Prep, recruiter outreach) are built around internship applications. Choose Simplify if you want a broader job search beyond internships, or if browser-extension autofill (its Copilot) and automated application submission (Autopilot, on its paid plan) matter more to you than internship-specific depth. Simplify's free tier also covers more casual browsing, while Intern Dock's full board and tools require a paid membership after a 7-day free trial — that trade-off is real and worth knowing up front.

A realistic workflow, both ways
On Intern Dock: you open the board, filter to your field and country, save a role to the tracker, tailor your resume to that exact posting, write the cover letter, find a recruiter at the company for a warm introduction, and practice the interview — the deadline sits on your calendar the whole time.
On Simplify: you search the general job board or receive daily Job Match emails, save roles to the Job Tracker, and use the Copilot browser extension to autofill each application form — or, on Simplify+, let Autopilot submit supported applications for you within its weekly credit limit.
The practical difference: Simplify optimizes for application volume across all job types; Intern Dock optimizes for depth on internships specifically — the board contains no full-time or graduate noise, and the tools assume you are a student applying to internship postings.
Limitations and open questions
- We could not verify Simplify+'s exact prices from its official pages (only billing periods are documented), so we do not compare price-per-feature.
- Whether Simplify shows full job details to signed-out visitors is not confirmed in the sources reviewed.
- Simplify's "80% of application sites" autofill coverage is the vendor's own figure; we have not independently tested it.
