Working Student - Controlling - Region FP&A (f/m/d)

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented student to join our Financial Planning and Analysis team as a working student. The FP&A working student will support the budgeting process, prepare monthly financial reports, and collaborate with various teams to ensure accurate and reliable financial data.About the working student role (3 months):

Budget Coordination & Monthly Reporting

Assist in coordinating and preparing the annual budgeting process. Prepare and review monthly financial reports, including variance analysis and explanations.

Cost centre structure / setup

Support a project to optimize our setup of cost accounting and reporting in SAP.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Coordinate with different clusters and functions to ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial data.

Reporting & Analysis

Prepare relevant monthly reports, including analyses and explanations of financial trends and results.

Accounting Period End

Participate in month-end and year-end closing processes.

Support FP&A Analysts

Assist FP&A analysts with data analysis and data modeling tasks as required.

Qualifications

Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (e.g., pivot tables, lookup functions). Basic understanding of financial planning and analysis processes. Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous internship or relevant experience in finance, accounting, or related field. Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform (e.g. PowerBI) Knowledge of financial modeling techniques.
