High School Student Intern Medical Assistant

POSITION SUMMARY

Must learn and understand the basic principles and methods used in the department, always following established protocols.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION

Must be a high school student (16+ years of age) with a permit to work or a high school graduate enrolled in a degreed or vocational program.

Must attend Southeastern Vocational Technical High School.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

Experience working in outpatient areas of a hospital or in community health centers is desirable. Must be detail-oriented. Good communication skills and diplomacy to interact and communicate effectively. Able to stay organized and ability to work independently once given direction
