Position Overview

As part of the talented Engineering team, you will work collaboratively and independently with highly qualified manufacturing professionals who are responsible for the metal melting process used to manufacture outboard and sterndrive motors for the recreational boating industry. You will learn to work with Operations leaders, supervisors, technicians, and production operators on the manufacturing floor as you own and manage assigned projects from inception to completion. Essential Functions

Test chemical properties of alloys used in production for our casting processes. Analyze chemical properties for aluminum and tool steel Work with full-time team members located in multiple different operational plants, assisting with projects and analysis Develop and edit operating procedures Diversity of thought and experiences is fundamental when imagining the unimaginable. Certain skillsets/experiences are necessary; however, others can be developed along the way.
