About the role
What We Need Corpay is currently looking to hire a Co-Op Risk Reporting Analyst within our Cross-Borders division. This position falls under our Risk Management line of business and is in Toronto, ON. In this role, you will support the team with credit analytics, exception reporting, bounced-payment analysis, portfolio monitoring, and other structured risk-management activities. We are looking for someone with a good academic foundation, strong Excel and analytical skills, attention to detail, and an interest in credit risk and financial services. Prior professional credit experience would be helpful but is not expected, as the role is intended to provide practical learning and development. You will report directly to the Sr. Manager, Operational Risk and regularly collaborate with various stakeholders. The responsibilities of the role will include
Reviewing and supporting exception requests related to settlement limit breaches, early release (ER) requests, and temporary overdrafts within defined mandates, ensuring alignment with approved risk frameworks and escalation thresholds. Supporting daily transactional credit risk operations, including monitoring settlement activity, overage positions, CLIAB balances, and funding sufficiency across currencies. Supporting credit underwriting activities for Enterprise or API-based clients, and Financial Institutions, including analysis of financial statements, liquidity positions, transaction volumes, and settlement behavior. Monitoring and supporting resolution of bounce payment activity, including tracking re-pulls, reinstatement requests, and timely escalation of unresolved exposures.
