Placement Student – Service Engineering (Digital and Data Analytics)

WE ARE LOOKING FOR AN ENTHUSIASTIC SERVICE ENGINEER TO JOIN OUR TEAM SPECIALIZING IN SYSTEMS AND DATA EXECUTION FOR OUR CBU - COMPONENTS BUSINESS UNIT IN HUDDERSFIELD, UNITED KINGDOM. DURING YOUR PLACEMENT WITH US, YOU WILL LEARN HOW A MAJOR GLOBAL ORGANIZATION OPERATES, GAINING THE TOOLS AND EXPOSURE YOU WILL NEED TO BECOME AN EXPERT IN THE INDUSTRY.

THIS ROLE IS AVAILABLE TO CANDIDATES WHO QUALIFY FOR A PLACEMENT YEAR AND WILL COMMENCE SUMMER 2026. THE REQUIREMENTS ARE FOR THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE TO BE ON-SITE 3 DAYS PER WEEK. IT IS IMPORTANT THAT YOU CAN RELOCATE ON YOUR OWN BEHALF, OR BE WITHIN A COMMUTABLE DISTANCE TO SITE.

RESPONSIBILITIES

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

• Supporting/using the CCIMS (Customer Care Information Management System)

application

• Compiling SQL queries using databricks

• Helping develop CCIMS next generation application and Process improvement

projects

• Gaining an appreciation of service function/spend time in the CBU Service Lab

in Huddersfield

• Supporting project in the Data Analytics & Data Science functions

QUALIFICATIONS

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

• We are looking applicants studying towards a degree in the following areas or

similar: Data Science, Technology, Maths, Business or Project Management

• An interest in Data Science and Data Analytics.

• Good understanding of databases and their structures.

• Ability to work successfully as part of a team with experience contributing

to or leading projects.
