Finance & Operations Intern

Primary Job Function: Assist the Finance and Operations teams with various administrative, operational, and financial tasks to support the smooth functioning of the organization

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Help with data entry, record keeping, and file management and organization. Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations. Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned by the Operations Manager. Conduct research and gather information to support operational decision-making. Assist in the implementation of process improvements and workflow enhancements. Liaise with other departments to gather financial data and provide necessary support for financial analysis and reporting. Support the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports. Help with the reconciliation of financial statements and accounts. Scanning and cataloging of financial and corporate documents. Create and update standard operating procedures Other projects and duties as required. Experience, Knowledge, and Skill Requirements: (Minimum requirements for the position.) Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy. Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. Positive attitude and willingness to learn. Education and Training Requirements: (Minimum requirements for the position.) Currently enrolled in a college or university program, preferably in Business Administration, Operations Management, Finance, or a related field. Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite

Additional Requirements

Ability to pass a U.S. Government background investigation. General office tasks including filing and using a computer in an indoor office setting.
