We offer a hybrid work schedule (one week in the office, one week of teleworking) to accommodate the need for flexibility. Job Summary This internship is designed for a student who is building a foundation in electrical engineering, power systems, data analysis, or a related technical discipline. The successful candidate will support the Distribution System Grid Planning department by assisting with defined engineering tasks, research, data organization, modeling support, and documentation in support of long-range distribution grid planning activities.

This position will be assigned to the Distribution System Grid Planning department. The successful candidate will be a member of a team that provides technical support for Grid Planning, Grid Resiliency, Grid Modernization, and Integrated Distribution Planning activities by supporting system studies, analyses, and modeling used to evaluate distribution grid needs.

Candidate should have an interest in electrical engineering, electric power systems, utility infrastructure, data analytics, or grid modernization. Coursework or project experience related to power systems is preferred, but the role is intended to provide a supervised learning opportunity for students early in their engineering career.
