About the role
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be
- Develop expertise in process control instruments and control valves.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects for test technology.
- Work with Simulation, Design, Materials and Product Engineering groups as
part of a multi-functional team to determine testing requirements.
- Develop and complete test plans in cooperation with internal design teams and
external customers.
- Assemble test units, install measurement instrumentation, and set up data
acquisition systems.
- Evaluate experimental data and prepare engineering reports that include
analysis, conclusions, and recommendations.
- Update company-wide standards and web pages.
- Use LabVIEW, FlexLogger, DIAdem, DeltaV, VBA, and/or Python automated systems
that could consist of process or report automation, physical test setups, or data analysis.
- Collaborate in an agile team environment to efficiently conduct testing.

For This Role, You Will Need
- Enrollment in an engineering Bachelor's degree program
- Completion of the following courses is required for this position: Statics,
Fluids, and Mechanics of Materials
- Ability to work full-time (40 hours) per week in-person at location
(Marshalltown, IA)
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart
- Enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program in Mechanical Engineering,
Aerospace Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, or Nuclear Engineering
- Junior or Senior class standing
- 2.75 or higher cumulative GPA
- Hands-on mechanical proficiency and experience
- Fluid dynamics or acoustics interest or experience preferred
