The Role

Our site in Decatur, TX is seeking an AI Co-Op Intern, Continuous Improvement to join our team for the Spring 2027 season. This assignment is intended to be 6 months in duration. The AI and Digital Transformation Co-Op will support the Continuous Improvement team in identifying, developing, and deploying practical AI solutions that improve productivity, automate repetitive tasks, and enhance data-driven decision making across the organization. This position will provide hands-on experience with Microsoft Copilot, Power Automate, Power BI, SharePoint, and other AI-enabled technologies while working directly with cross-functional teams to solve real business challenges. The co-op will assist in evaluating AI use cases, developing workflow automations, creating dashboards and reporting tools, building knowledge management solutions, and supporting training and adoption efforts. The role offers exposure to manufacturing operations, engineering, quality, supply chain, and business processes, providing a unique opportunity to apply emerging AI technologies in a real-world industrial environment. This position aligns with the company's Operational Excellence and Digital Transformation objectives by accelerating AI adoption, reducing non-value-added work, improving process efficiency, and helping establish scalable best practices for future AI initiatives.
