We pride ourselves on delivering excellent service, fostering personal and professional development, and building a collaborative, entrepreneurial culture.

About this opportunity

We are offering a 10-week summer internship, starting Monday 5 July 2027, with our high-performing M&A team in London. The role will be a challenging mix of on-the-job training and structured input, and an exciting opportunity to build connections with market-leading experts.

We are seeking a select number of hardworking final-year undergraduate or Masters students, passionate about investment banking and forging a career based on sector insight and delivery excellence.

You're likely to get involved with analysing markets, creating complex financial models, producing research and collateral, and performing valuations on live and anticipated transactions. We'll provide you with a dedicated mentor and access to senior bankers throughout your internship to provide guidance and advice. You'll also gain unparalleled early exposure to the investment banking process within a boutique environment, acquiring strong financial analysis and client service skills along the way. Knowledge & Experience

  • Strong academic record in business, accounting, economics, or finance. We will consider other disciplines if you've had previous practical experience in a similar industry.
  • Currently a 3rd/4th year undergraduate or Masters student.
  • Previous internship within accounting, transaction services, or investment banking is a distinct advantage.
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications; knowledge of specific investment banking databases (e.g. CapitalIQ, Pitchbook) is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Great presentation skills; both oral and written.

Attributes

  • Personal Impact – Able to build confidence quickly to be someone we want on the team and a client would want in their corner.
  • Resilient – Able to work under (at times, fairly intense) pressure with definitive deadlines. A self-starter with a degree of accountability and self-confidence, able to project a professional and calm demeanour to gain trust and confidence.
  • Fastidious – A methodical, process-driven nature that anticipates future issues and problems before they occur.
  • Strong Commitment – To the job, team, and to excellence in client service.
  • Research and prepare presentations that identify and explain trends within our dedicated sectors.
  • Prepare confidential operating as well as transactional models, information memorandums, presentations, and marketing documents in support of sale transactions.
  • Support execution of mergers & acquisitions advisory mandates with a holistic footprint across the transaction workstreams (marketing, due diligence, project management & coordination).
  • Involvement in the pitching process – collating materials and undertaking research and analysis.
  • Critical analysis of financials and business data, communicating financial patterns, insights, and discrepancies.

Interns will also benefit from

  • A dedicated buddy and mentor for guidance and support
  • Structured training sessions to build technical and analytical skills, as well as commercial judgment
  • Direct interaction with deal teams to understand the M&A process
  • Opportunities to develop professional confidence in a boutique investment banking environment
