Job Description

The ERCOT Internship Program allows college students the opportunity to develop their skills in a technical and high-paced, professional work environment. Interns receive assignments and projects that aim to solve real challenges facing the electric industry. The internship program also allows students to experience working alongside ERCOT employees and being part of a team. Throughout the internship, ERCOT leaders are able to evaluate each individual interns' capabilities and compatibility with ERCOT's mission, vision and values. This summer internship will support ERCOT's Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) team in identifying, documenting, and analyzing key risks that could impact the organization's strategic and operational objectives. The intern will assist with ongoing risk assessments, support analysis and risk quantification efforts used by leadership for risk-informed decisions and assist with tracking mitigation activities across business units.
