Audit Services Intern – May 2027 - 2028 Who We Are: Audit Services is an independent, objective assurance or consulting activity within Farm Bureau Financial Services and affiliated companies whose activities are designed to bring a systematic, disciplined approach to evaluate, and improve the effectiveness of risk management, control and governance processes. The objectives of the Audit Services Department are to assist the Audit Committees, Management Team, and other managers of the companies in the effective discharge of their responsibilities. This is done by evaluating their risk management, control and governance processing, and discussing issues, risks and appropriate solutions. We are seeking a talented student to be involved and learn the daily activities of an auditor. What You’ll Do: As an Audit Services intern, you will participate in process walkthroughs to evaluate financial statement risks/controls. You will also have the opportunity to begin documenting walkthroughs and support staff in the completion of control testing. Other administrative functions such as time reporting may also be an expectation. Our internship program follows an 80/10/10 approach: 80% of your time will be spent performing meaningful work and project-based assignments within your department. 10% of your time will be dedicated to learning from and networking with employees in other areas of the or
