The Supplier Quality & Development Engineering Co-op will play an active role in ensuring supplier quality, product reliability, and operational excellence across GE HealthCare's supply base. Working closely with sourcing, engineering, manufacturing, and service teams, this individual will support both strategic improvement initiatives and day-to-day quality operations that directly impact our products and customers. This role provides exposure to supplier management, quality systems, manufacturing operations, data analytics, and continuous improvement within the medical device industry. Students will have opportunities to work on projects aimed at improving supplier performance, reducing defects, enhancing process efficiency, and supporting supplier development activities. In addition to project-based work, the co-op will support recurring operational responsibilities such as monitoring supplier certifications, maintaining quality metrics and dashboards, and assisting with supplier communications and corrective action follow-up.
