ABOUT THE JOB

Helena is seeking undergraduate or graduate students enrolled in the School of Agricultural Sciences or similar educational discipline interested in seasonal internships with our Research and Development (R&D) teams. We offer hands on experience with a variety of agricultural crops throughout the Central Valley and Central Coast. Part-time positions are available during the semester and full-time positions are available during the summer.

Helena's R&D Interns provide general assistance in setup, implementation and evaluation of efficacy and residue research trials. They also assist other departments with various projects to gain an understanding of Helena's business processes. This intern position offers lots of opportunities for exposure to other departments and team members that work with key clients and companies we provide services for.

WHAT YOUR DAY WILL LOOK LIKE

• Works on assigned projects with different teams. Some of these projects may

include: chemical applications, sample collection and evaluating test plots.

• Assists with calculations for sprayer calibration and application rate.
• Conducts maintenance duties such as running irrigation and tracking for

secondary pests.

• Completes proper paperwork as needed.
• Enters data into the computer system.
