Become a part of the “strength within.” Hexcel is currently seeking a Global Quality Industrial Placement Student for our Duxford, UK location. The selected individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following obligations: Support the documentation and maintenance of document management systems (DMS) and quality management systems (QMS). Provide support for quality-related projects. Support data collection, cleaning, and analysis for quality metrics and performance indicators. Assist in quality assurance activities, including the inspection and testing of composite materials. Contribute to and support continuous improvement projects aimed at enhancing product quality and operational efficiency. Help prepare technical reports, procedures, and summaries for internal and external stakeholders. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on quality-related initiatives and audits. Assist in monitoring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

Currently enrolled in a relevant degree (e.g., Engineering, Materials Science, Computer/Data Science, Mathematics, or a related discipline). Interest in industry, quality management and manufacturing processes. Basic understanding of composite materials and production techniques is advantageous. Good analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Basic programming skills are advantageous. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively. Organisational skills to man
