Project Manager Intern

As a Project Manager Intern, you’ll work alongside experienced Project Managers and Superintendents to gain valuable exposure to both the office and field sides of commercial construction. You’ll have the opportunity to see projects progress from award through closeout while building practical skills in project coordination, scheduling, estimating, documentation, communication, and problem-solving.

What You'll Do

You’ll support our Project Management team with a variety of responsibilities, including: Review construction plans and specifications and assist with project coordination. Work with Project Managers, Superintendents, subcontractors, architects, owners, and suppliers to help keep projects moving forward. Assist with RFIs, submittals, change orders, purchase orders, contracts, and project documentation. Track and maintain project logs and documentation in Procore and other project management systems. Help communicate plan changes, obtain subcontractor pricing, and follow up on project changes. Participate in project and progress meetings, including preparing and distributing meeting minutes. Assist with updating and distributing project schedules and, as experience develops, building schedules. Visit jobsites to observe project progress, assist with safety and compliance assessments, and gain firsthand field experience. Work with Superintendents to help coordinate materials and owner-supplied items. Provide support to field Superintendents and Project Managers as needed. Assist with project closeout activities, including punch lists and deviations. Assist with labor rates, LEED documentation, shop drawing logs, and plan logs. Gain exposure to estimating through bid solicitation, bid day activities, and pre-bid meetings. At
