Job Summary

The Roadway Design Intern will join our team for a 12-week internship in the Raleigh, NC office. As a Roadway Design Intern at ICE, you will gain valuable industry experience by working with our Roadway team. Internships with ICE allow you to continue your education with a real-world experience that will enhance your future academic experiences. There is room for growth within our organization for dedicated civil engineering professionals. All employment offers are contingent upon the applicant successfully completing drug and background screenings. Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze data for the preparation of road and highway designs.
• Perform roadway and highway design calculations.
• Conduct investigative analyses toward completion of assigned design tasks.
• Assist with the preparation of design drawings and/or specifications.
• Roadway/surface design and other applicable design specifications as well as state and local design requirements.
• Working with engineers on isometric designs and assisting project managers with design review, permitting, and proposal efforts.
