About the Role

This is a 16 month role (with occasional 12 month opportunities available). The Supply Chain Management Inventoy Analyst Co-op holds a key responsibility in maintianing appropriate Production Inventory levels and developing solutions to mitigate undesirable increases in those levels. They investigate Inventory anomolies and collaborate cross-functionally across the greater oprganization to develope and execute mitigation plans. This role demands strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to create and maintain reports for Key Performance Indicators in Supply Chain Management. The Co-op actively supports Continuous Improvement initiatives and is proficient in data analysis within a team-oriented environment.

Primary Responsibilities

Identify inventory avoidance/reduction opportunities Working with all departments to drive inventory reduction opportunities Generation of inventory metric reporting, management and control Measure specific categories of inventory against key metrics Provide analysis of metrics including recommendations for action to improve performance Hands on management of obsolete inventory via sales, rework, or scrap Assist in forecasting appropriate levels of stock Manage/reduce excess t
