As a Financial Planning andamp; Analysis (FPandamp;A) Intern, you will work alongside experienced professionals to support financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and analysis for Martin Marietta. This internship provides an opportunity to apply classroom knowledge to real-world financial and business challenges while gaining exposure to the financial planning process at a large public company.

Key Responsibilities

Follow and promote Martin Marietta's safety, environmental, and ethical standards in all work activities. Actively participate in company initiatives and support a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement. Assist with financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting activities. Support the annual planning process and gain exposure to financial planning activities across a large public company. Assist with the preparation of financial reports, analyses, presentations, and other materials for divisional and corporate teams. Participate in the preparation and analysis of information supporting quarterly 10-Q reporting and Earnings Release processes. Assist with various ad hoc financial analysis and external audit requests. Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement. Support the development and maintenance of financial models, reports, dashboards, and analytical tools. Utilize tools such as IBM Cognos Analytics and Planning Analytics to support reporting and financial planning activities.
