A day in the life of a Surety Underwriting Intern might include: Captures information from multiple sources, account to company guidelines to support underwriting Review individual risks for acceptability and handles those within authority, based on company guidelines and standards. Completes assigned Underwriting transactions and tasks within established time and service standard. Analysis and review of CPA and company financial statements and schedules. Input of those into the surety system. Determines necessary steps to process work. Decides to accept, reject, or modify based on level of authori
