Position Summary

The insurance team monitors that projects serviced by HDC have insurance in place at all times and ensures that premium invoices are paid in time for escrowed projects.

Responsibilities

Obtaining evidence of insurance and premium invoices from the insurance agents/brokers. Review and catalog insurance certificates into KnowledgeLake. Ensuring insurance records in Benedict are up-to-date. Working with the Loan Servicing Administrators and Managing Agents to ensure insurance compliance. Assisting in process efficiencies strategies

Required Qualifications

Pursuing a BA, BS degree. This internship is open to all majors, but see “preferred qualifications” below for coursework areas most relevant to this opportunity Excellent communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Pivot Table) Understanding of basic mortgage and/or insurance concepts helpful
