JOB SUMMARY

As a year-round Cybersecurity Intern, you will help protect Oshkosh Corporation’s information, systems, and technology while gaining hands-on experience across multiple areas of cybersecurity. Depending on your background, interests, and project assignment, you may support security operations and incident response, cyber defense engineering, security infrastructure, or security technology administration. You’ll work alongside cybersecurity professionals to investigate real-world security events, support enterprise security technologies, improve security controls, and help strengthen Oshkosh’s overall security posture. This internship provides exposure to both the technical and operational sides of cybersecurity while giving you the opportunity to develop practical skills, work with industry tools, and understand how cybersecurity supports a global organization.

YOUR IMPACT

As a Cybersecurity Intern, your responsibilities may include

Working alongside Security Operations, Incident Response, and Cyber Defense teams Investigating phishing emails, malware, security alerts, and other cybersecurity events Supporting the technologies used by the Cyber Defense team, including day-to-day operations, maintenance, upgrades, and lifecycle management Assisting with the administration, configuration, and troubleshooting of security applications and infrastructure Participating in patching, deployment, and upgrades of security applications and agents Troubleshooting and remediating cybersecurity tickets based on priority Supporting security logging across the e
