OVERVIEW: Pratt Miller Production Manufacturing is searching for talented individuals interested in the field of Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering. Internships could run the duration of a few months or last as long as a full year. Pratt Miller is developing the capabilities for low volume production and is seeking an individual with the desire and capability to use Lean Manufacturing concepts to help deliver our products to our customers. This individual will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects with the entire production team and will be engaged with daily activities as well as long term projects. The chosen candidate will find a stimulating and positive work environment. We require a creative and detail-oriented engineer who is devoted to learning and continuous improvement. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Typical responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Develop process flow charts Conduct time studies Write detailed work instructions Select assembly tools & equipment Develop plant/cell layouts

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

Degree candidate in Mechanical, Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering Basic knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Techniques Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
