Physical Therapy Internship - Spring 2027 Semester

What You’ll Experience Patient Care Support: Assist with patient care activities and help maintain an efficient clinical workflow. Exercise Instruction: Gain experience supporting exercise instruction and engaging with patients in a clinical setting. Treatment Modalities: Observe and gain exposure to physical therapy modalities, including ultrasound and electrical stimulation. Clinic Operations: Learn the fundamentals of daily clinic operations, including treatment room turnover, equipment care, and maintaining an organized treatment environment. Clinical Team Collaboration: Work alongside the clinical team to support daily operations and contribute to a positive patient experience. Who Should Apply? This internship is ideal for students pursuing studies in physical therapy, exercise science, or a related healthcare field who are eager to learn, gain practical experience, and develop a better understanding of the physical therapy profession. Interns are expected to demonstrate professionalism, a willingness to learn, and a commitment to supporting the clinical team and providing a positive patient experience. Important Information This is an unpaid internship. Students may be eligible to receive 3–6 college credits upon successful completion, subject to their academic program requirements.
