Responsibilities

The S&C Summer Associate is responsible for working on projects or specific pieces of work to shape, develop, and enable execution of strategies. Each S&C Summer Associate will report into a project area “Vertical.” The Verticals are described below. U.S. Commercial: Encompasses Pfizer’s commercial efforts across Therapeutic Areas (Oncology, Internal Medicine, Vaccines, Antivirals, Inflammation & Immunology, and our Hospital portfolio), as well as key commercial capabilities including Marketing, Medical Affairs, and Market Access. International Commercial Division: Consists of the commercial organizations and corresponding P&Ls in all ex U.S. markets. Corporate and Pfizer Research & Development: Encompasses a wide range of Corporate Functions and high-priority strategy projects for R&D. While this position reports into the S&C team organizationally, this person will stay connected to key business challenges and opportunities as articulated by the Business Unit (BU) leadership teams, ensuring that there is alignment with strategic priorities, and/or recommending adjustments to priorities when necessary.
