The Premier Engineering Internship program is designed to give you an opportunity to work in a collaborative product & process development environment. You will have the opportunity to work as part of a cross-functional team to improve efficiency & quality of Industry leading Pontoon boat manufacturing. With guidance from a Senior Engineer, you will have the opportunity to concept and implement key process improvements such as fixtures, tools, and work instructions. The Manufacturing Engineering Intern’s assignments are aligned with company Core Values & Objectives, resulting in opportunities to realize solutions in real time. You will also have the opportunity to extend learnings from the classroom into completing Engineering analysis to drive manufacturing improvements to improve yield, cycle time, safety, and product quality.

Key Responsibilities

Drive manufacturing process improvement activities through analysis and benchmarking to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and eliminate bottle necks. Design process improvement tools such as weld and assembly fixtures. Support autonomous manufacturing and other process improvement technologies. Create and update standard work documentation for processes, including but not limited to, all relevant maintenance documents and practices.
