Qorvo’s Mechanical or Systems Engineering Internships are offered in our Global Operations business group. Specific projects and responsibilities will be determined based on the business needs at the time of the internship assignment.

Responsibilities may include

Ensuring equipment optimization and robust preventative maintenance schedule are in place. Cross functional observation to identify and drive continuous improvements in cycle time, constraints, safety, efficiency, cost, etc.

Establishing SPC standards in key work areas

KPI and Dashboard Development/Consolidation Use LEAN tools such as A3, 8D and 8-step to apply manufacturing best-practices / continual improvements Assembly layout projects Supply weekly updates to supporting Manager on Project(s) status – with emphasis on schedule, project health and any concerns impactful
