Summer 2027 Internship: Sales Engineer

QTS' summer internship program will provide you first hand experience into the fast paced world of the data center industry by providing weekly lunch and learns, a comprehensive orientation program, site based activities, socials and volunteering events. Every intern will be assigned initiatives tied to real QTS objectives helping with anything pertaining to the whole life-cycle of a data center build and/or company operations. The Sales Engineer Intern will be fully immersed in QTS' sales life-cycle while becoming a SME about our solutions we offer our co-location customers. Responsibilities will include but aren't limited to:

Sales Engineer Intern

Perform research on prospective clients/customers Assist with preparing solution/ proof of concept materials Participate in customer/client meetings to learn about how to approach technical solutions Become a SME on QTS' portfolio of solutions Develop account management/project management frameworks

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Actively pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Management, Economics, Mathematics, Accounting, Finance, STEM, Data Science, Human Resources, or a related field. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint for presentations and Excel for data analysis and budgeting. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Must be a US Citizen
