Summer 2027 Internship: Technology Optimization Project Management

QTS' summer internship program will provide you first hand experience into the fast paced world of the data center industry by providing weekly lunch and learns, a comprehensive orientation program, site based activities, socials and volunteering events. Every intern will be assigned initiatives tied to real QTS objectives helping with anything pertaining to the whole life-cycle of a data center build and/or company operations. The Technology Optimization Intern will gain direct experience in the process around optimizing a Data Center environment. Responsibilities can include but aren't limited to:

Technology Intern

Assist the Technology team with day-to-day activities and responsibilities. Maintain updated budgets, schedules, and status reports for assigned projects. Develop scopes of work for design, configuration, and commissioning services. Work on technology procurement and delivery processes with the strategic procurement team. Monitor the status and availability of in-production technologies. Help disposition legacy assets Perform fact finding around needs of major projects/initiatives Assist with the decoupling of components of data centers

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Actively pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Management, Economics, Mathematics, Accounting, Finance, STEM, Data Science, Human Resources, or a related field. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint for presentations and Excel for data analysis and budgeting. Strong verbal and written communication skill
