What You Will Do

As a Mechanical Engineering Structures Intern at Pratt & Whitney you will… Support engineering related efforts to meet shop and supplier delivery requirements. Perform hand calculations and FEA work to address QN’s. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate technical solutions and deliver results. Document and present analysis outcomes through formal reports and presentations to management and customers.

What You Will Learn Perform structural analysis using both hand calculations and finite element analysis, building strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Interpret analysis results and translate them into actionable recommendations and proposals for leadership and product teams. Ability to determine the most efficient way to accurately solve structural problems. Skills in documenting technical work through formal reports and delivering clear, persuasive presentations to management and customers.
