What You Will Do

As a Technical Publications– Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML) Technical Developer Intern at Pratt & Whitney you will….. Assist in development of AI/ML prototypes to support technical data analysis and process improvement Work with structured technical data (e.g., Exstensible Markup Language (XML) -based documentation) to prepare datasets for analysis Develop and test machine learning models for classification, pattern recognition, or anomaly detection Evaluate model performance using measurable metrics (precision, recall, false positive rate) Build scripts and tools to support exploratory data analysis and preprocessing Support integration of AI-assisted outputs into a human-in-the-loop review workflow Document model assumptions, limitations, and improvement opportunities Collaborate with technical publications, Quality Assurance, and engineering stakeholders to validate prototype outputs What You Will Learn Development of at least one functioning AI prototype in sandbox environment Documented performance evaluation against defined baseline metrics Defined human-in-the-loop workflow for model validation Technical report detailing model architecture
