S. A. Miro, Inc. is seeking a self-motivated Structural Design Engineer Intern to join our team. This is a hands-on internship with exposure to a diverse range of projects nationwide, working alongside licensed engineers through design and construction phases. Interns at Miro contribute to live project work under the direction of a supervising engineer. Interns receive mentorship and feedback while collaborating with experienced professionals.

Responsibilities

Assist in preparing project documents, structural drawings, and specifications Perform engineering calculations for structural components and systems under supervision Assist with review of shop drawing submittals Support the design team through design and construction phases, including RFI research Participate in site visits during construction as project schedules allow Attend project team meetings and internal design reviews Prepares presentations Performs research and special studies Data entry Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university, pursuing a B.S. or M.S. in Civil, Structural, or Arch
