Student Programs Overview:Graduate Opportunity Graduate Engineer Development Program (GEDP)GEDP is a one-year Indianapolis-based rotational program that focuses on developing technical problem-solving and leadership skills. Engineers will spend time in each of INDOT’s engineering departments and upon completion of the program, will transition into their choice of assignment at INDOT; based on availability of positions, supervisor assessments, and the engineer’s preference. The goal of the GEDP is to support the engineer’s ability to learn as much about on-the-job civil engineering as possible, as well as fostering professional development and connecting the engineer with INDOT’s wide network of civil engineering professionals.
