About the role
What this Department does
We're looking for a Fundamentals Analyst Intern to join our team for Summer 2027. This is a hands-on role for a curious, analytically-minded student who wants to apply economic thinking to real energy markets. You'll work alongside our analysts to understand what drives regional natural gas markets, sharpen how we manage our data, and help turn analysis into clear, actionable reporting.
If you enjoy connecting economic theory to the way markets actually behave, this role is for you.

well-structured datasets. Identify inefficiencies in how we collect, store, and access data, and propose improvements that make our analysis faster and more reliable.
- Report Development — Contribute to recurring and ad-hoc reports that
translate complex fundamentals into concise, decision-ready insights for internal and external audiences.
What you will learn
