About the internship This is a 10-week experience, designed to fully immerse interns in the buy-side investment management industry by working alongside one of HIMCO’s Investment teams as a Summer Analyst. These assignments can include positions within different investment areas, including: credit research, private markets, structured credit, quantitative equity, portfolio management, client management and macroeconomic strategy. Interns are offered extensive development opportunities through a mentoring program, a mock-trading competition, an executive speaker series, volunteering, and social events. Intern contributions during his/her internship will culminate in a capstone presentation to provide an opportunity for exposure to HIMCO senior leaders. Successful summer interns may be invited back for a full-time Assistant Investment Analyst position.
