As a Critical Facilities Technician (CFT), you will help operate and maintain the systems that keep a data center running 24/7. Data centers house the technology and equipment that power the internet, cloud services, and critical business operations.

In this role, you will monitor, inspect, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical, mechanical, cooling, and backup power systems that support the facility. You will respond to equipment alarms, perform routine maintenance, coordinate with vendors and contractors, and help ensure all systems operate safely and reliably.

The skills learned in many military occupations translate well to the structured procedures, safety focus, and operational discipline required in a data center. Aligned military positions include but are not limited to: Navy Nuke MMN, EMN, ETN, 91D Power Generation Technicians, GSE/GSM (Navy), Machinist Mate and Electrician's Mate (conventional), Army Prime Power, Navy Engineman, etc.

Successful candidates are detail-oriented, safety-focused, comfortable working with technical systems, and able to follow established processes while responding to changing operational needs. The role offers opportunities for continued technical training, career growth, and advancement within the rapidly expanding data center industry.

Compensation target if hired after the internship is estimated between $83K - $120K per year; This
