Job Description

At Atlassian Williams F1 Team, our Industrial Placement gives ambitious students 12 months inside Formula 1. You’ll take on real responsibility with projects that shape the future car and our business. Grow with a cohort from day one, then head back to university with experience you can apply immediately. Join a high-performance team, push boundaries, make an impact. The Systems Simulation team centralises how we model and optimise our systems - from cooling, hydraulics and gearboxes to suspension kinematics and multi-body dynamics. By embedding first-principles engineering at the core of our work, Systems Simulations deliver accurate, consistent, and innovative simulations that drive performance and reliability. This unified approach accelerates development, validates bold ideas, and helps push the limits of innovation before a single component is built.
