What You Will Do

The Transportation Design Intern will support the planning, design, and delivery of transportation infrastructure projects while gaining hands-on experience working alongside engineers and project teams. This role provides exposure to roadway, highway, traffic, and transportation improvement projects and the opportunity to develop technical and professional skills in a collaborative environment.

Your responsibilities may include

• Assisting with the design and preparation of plans for transportation

projects, including roadways, highways, intersections, trails, and related infrastructure.

• Supporting engineers with design calculations, cost estimates, traffic

analyses, and technical evaluations.

• Assisting in the preparation of reports, specifications, permit applications,

and other project documentation.

• Reviewing engineering drawings, plans, and technical documents for accuracy,

completeness, and compliance with design standards.

• Participating in project meetings, site visits, field observations, and data

collection activities.

• Collaborating with engineers, designers, planners, and other disciplines to

deliver high-quality transportation solutions.
