The Renewable Operation Center (ROC) is seeking a highly analytical, detail oriented, and self motivated intern with a strong interest in renewable energy to support Xcel’s rapidly growing renewable generation fleet. This role offers hands on exposure to real time operations, data driven decision making, and site performance optimization across utility scale renewable assets. The intern will work closely with ROC Operators and the ROC Analytics team to support daily operations and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Key responsibilities include assisting with the development of a daily operational morning report that supports both on site teams and ROC personnel, performing quantitative and trend based analysis to enable proactive work management, and leveraging predictive analytics tools to recommend data driven adjustments to site maintenance and operational strategies. In addition, the intern will contribute to the design and enhancement of visual and interactive dashboards used by the ROC to identify performance trends, operational risks, and optimization opportunities across the fleet. The role also includes supporting the Senior ROC Analyst in the development and maintenance of databases to enable scalable analytics and collaboration between operations
