Internship in Next-Generation System Interaction with Contextual Voice Command Activation (f/m/x)

We are seeking passionate and talented students who are eager to shape next-generation products at ZEISS. Integrated in a team of scientists and research engineers, you will work (for at least 4 months) on research projects for interactive systems. In these projects voice commands play a crucial role for human-computer interaction capabilities. The internship will focus on voice commands with speaker and context identification without a wake-up word. It includes user interaction design with novel form factors and prototyping with new hardware and sensors in the context of automated speech recognition.

You are enrolled in a master’s or bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or similar You are interested in technology and motivated to work on challenging tasks You have a strong computer science background with very good coding skills You have experience and/or strong interest in human-centered design You also have some experiences in at least one of the topics listed above You are willing to collaborate and work in complementary teams Good communication skills in English and/or German You are willing to learn and explore with a high degree of initiative and creativity
