About the Role

Voltava is seeking an Operations Intern to support our Lansing manufacturing operations. This hands-on opportunity provides exposure to production, team member development, quality, safety, scheduling, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment.

What You Will Do

Support daily manufacturing operations and collaborate with teams across the facility. Assist with Team Member onboarding, training, and development, including creating and updating training materials. Monitor training and performance requirements using tools such as the Versatility Matrix. Support audits and compliance activities, including PVS, SOT, and 5S, and help identify and address gaps. Validate daily operational documentation and support accurate recordkeeping. Participate in daily 5S activities and continuous improvement initiatives. Promote a strong safety culture and support compliance with company, customer, and regulatory requirements. Assist with staffing and scheduling activities to support operational needs.
