About the role

As an HR Operations Intern at Astera Labs, you will help the HR Operations team deliver reliable, responsive support across employee and business processes. You will learn how HR Operations works with HR leaders, HR business partners, Talent Acquisition, and cross-functional teams, while owning defined work that improves follow-through, visibility, and team efficiency. This internship is designed for a student who is organized, service-minded, detail-oriented, and excited to learn how strong HR operations enable employees and the business to move forward.

Key responsibilities

Own operational follow-through: Track assigned requests, action items, and service-level commitments from intake through completion. Support HR service delivery: Help organize and route HR questions and requests to the appropriate point of contact, escalating blockers when needed. Work with HR systems and tools: Learn and use relevant HR systems, reporting tools, documentation resources, and HR ticketing workflows.
