Summer 2027 Intern, Project Coordinator, Creative

All Athena internships are hosted in person at our Philadelphia headquarters. The Summer 2027 cohort will run from June 15th through August 11th. Interns are expected to work 20–30 hours per week.

About the Role

As a Creative Project Management Intern, you'll collaborate with project managers, designers, copywriters, strategists, and account teams to help keep creative projects organized, on schedule, and moving forward. You'll support project timelines, coordinate meetings, track deliverables, manage project documentation, and help facilitate communication across multiple workstreams. You'll gain exposure to project planning, workflow management, creative operations, resource coordination, stakeholder communication, and agency processes. Throughout the internship, you'll strengthen your skills in project management tools, organization, prioritization, problem-solving, cross-functional collaboration, and client-focused project execution. As part of the Athena team, you'll contribute to real client and agency projects, participate in team meetings and project reviews, and help support the successful delivery of campaigns, branding initiatives, websites, presentations, content programs, and other creative work. About the Program The Athena internship program immerses interns in a collaborative, cross-functional environment where they work closely with teams across project management, creative, strategy, account management, and marketing while gaining exposure to how departments align to bring projects to life. Our Capstone Project allows interns to collaborate and contribute to real-world initiatives by presenting their proposal to internal stakeholders. Interns are mentored through weekly managerial check-ins and executive support. Athena fosters a culture of support, curiosity, connection, and inclusivity, which allows interns to shine.
