Job Purpose & Scope

Responsible for assisting Bank’s asset management team in the management and oversight of a portfolio of commercial real estate loans comprising a broad range of property types, sponsors, deal structures and markets.

Essential Job Functions

Reviews newly approved lending facilities, including analysis of property operations, including historical and projected revenues and operating, leasing and capital expenditures with respect to the ongoing economic viability of the property and loan. Evaluates monthly loan draws to ensure compliance with budget, assessing ongoing construction risk and ordering and reviewing title updates. Reviews and interprets loan pay-offs and releases of collateral. Reviews lease agreements (and related estoppels and SNDAs), sales contracts and other legal documents related to the loan portfolio. Reviews and interprets borrower/guarantor financial condition and compliance with loan and guaranty covenants, including reviewing and analyzing tax returns and financial statements.
