PURPOSE

Gain industry and organizational knowledge through daily business interactions and hands-on project assignments while supporting the Cyber Security team. The Cyber Security Intern will work under direct supervision to develop technical and professional skills through meaningful projects that contribute to the organization's security posture. This internship is designed to provide real-world experience in cybersecurity operations, security hardening initiatives, and metrics development while offering exposure to enterprise-level information security practices.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist with various projects in support of the Cyber Security department. Support cybersecurity hardening initiatives designed to strengthen the organization's security posture. Gather, organize, analyze, and report data related to cybersecurity metrics, key performance indicators, and departmental initiatives. Participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and knowledge-sharing activities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project goals and security-related business objectives. Research emerging cybersecurity threats, trends, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices. Assist with documentation, process improvement efforts, and security-related reporting. Prepare and deliver a final presentation summarizing project accomplishments, key findings, recommendations, and lessons learned. Gain exposure to real-world cybersecurity operations and enterprise security frameworks.
