09/08 The Provo City Engineering Division is recruiting for a Survey Intern position. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience working with a high-performing municipal survey team.

Job Details What is the compensation? $15.00 - $20.00 per hour depending on qualifications. What are the main duties? Complete projects for the Engineering Division/Survey Team as directed. Use AutoCAD Civil 3D to map surveys. Check subdivision plats. Assist survey crew and other department employees as needed. Perform other related duties as required. What are the minimum qualifications? Bona fide student in an undergraduate or graduate program in Civil Engineering, Surveying, or closely-related field. (Preference given to Surveying students.) Valid, lawful driver license at time of appointment. Applicant may be disqualified on the basis of an unacceptable driving record as reflected by the State Department of Motor Vehicles. What are the hours? 15-25 hours per week during the school year, up to 40 hours per week during the summer, Monday through Thursday between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. What are the physical and environmental factors?
