QA Engineering Intern Copart Tech’s Test Automation Team is looking for a motivated and technically curious Test Automation Intern to learn and contribute to quality and automated testing across our data products, data contracts, data pipelines, reporting, and analytics solutions. This is an excellent opportunity for a student or early-career candidate with a foundation in Java, SQL, and software development concepts who is interested in learning how data quality and automated testing are integrated into modern data and analytics solutions. The ideal candidate is a quick learner, problem solver, and team player who enjoys working with data, understanding how systems work, and improving software and data quality through automation.
Basic Qualifications
Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent technical education. Basic to intermediate Java programming skills with a good understanding of programming fundamentals and object-oriented concepts. Good understanding of SQL and relational databases. Strong interest in data quality, software testing, and test automation. Ability to understand business or technical requirements and translate them into basic test scenarios and validation checks. Basic understanding of Git/source control and software development practices. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an interest in investigating data or application issues. Good written and verbal communication skills. Ability to collaborate with data engineers, developers, QA engineers, analysts, and product teams. Preferred / Ni
