Placement Student - Customer Account Support

We are looking for an enthusiastic Customer Support student to join our team specializing in Supply Chain Planning at our Drivetrain and Braking Systems Site in Redditch. During your placement with us, you will learn how a major global organization operates, gaining the tools and exposure you will need to become an expert in the industry.

This role is available to candidates who qualify for a placement year and will commence Summer of 2027.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

• Support customers with enquiries relating to orders, deliveries, products,

and account information.

• Monitor and manage customer cases, ensuring timely updates and resolution.
• Work closely with Sales, Supply Chain, Logistics, and other internal

departments to support customer needs.

• Assist with order tracking and communication of delivery updates.
• Help maintain accurate customer records and documentation.
• Support reporting activities and analyse customer service trends where

required.

• Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance the customer

experience.

• Participate in team meetings, projects, and continuous improvement

activities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

• Studying towards a degree in Business, Customer Service, Management, Supply

Chain, or a related discipline.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Customer-focused with a proactive and positive attitude.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and

Outlook.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively within a team.
• Eagerness to learn and develop within a fast-paced business environment.
