The ERCOT Internship Program allows college students the opportunity to develop their skills in a technical and high-paced, professional work environment. Interns receive assignments and projects that aim to solve real challenges facing the electric industry. The internship program also allows students to experience working alongside ERCOT employees and being part of a team. Throughout the internship, ERCOT leaders are able to evaluate each individual interns' capabilities and compatibility with ERCOT's mission, vision and values. We are recruiting for multiple interns in the Commercial Operations department that will ultimately fill roles in the following areas of ERCOT: Market Analysis Market Validation Congestion Revenue Rights Wholesale Market Operations Market Intelligence & Strategy Education Pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Electrical Engineering preferably with a focus on Power Systems, Computer and Electrical Engineering, with focus in Economics. ​Eligible candidates should be enrolled in an academic bachelors or post graduate degree program maintaining a GPA of 3.0 or higher
